Hup Holland Hup! part 3
So the World Cup Final - Netherlands vs. Spain - is finally coming tomorrow. In the art supply store I frequent, one of the staff held up an orange balloon and asked me, "Do you like this color?" Of course I said yes! Then he asked me to pray for them on Sunday, because Spain is a good team.
My Albert Heijn XL store staffed an employee past the checkout counters, handing out these orange-glazed cupcake-like pastries.
NS, the national railway here, also sent me an email telling me about service changes coming Tuesday, with additional trains going to Amsterdam (so fewer traveling other routes). That's where the Dutch team will be welcomed back, no matter what the result will be.
