SF Giants By Land and By Sea
A break from the scheduled programming of updates from the East Coast...
On my bike rides home from the Transbay Terminal, I pass by the Giants Stadium. When games are going on, sometimes the Embarcadero gets crowded and I then have to go bike on the street with the hot rodders racing to catch their Caltrain.
But other times I am treated to sights like this one, where fans show their Giants pride on their boat moored in China Basin aka McCovey Cove. There's always a kayaker wearing orange too, paddling about. I believe they are watching the game on a Jumbotron, and are hoping to catch home runs that occasionally fly into the Cove!
