Getting online was really important to me in my four months around the world, so every hostel, guesthouse, and hotel I chose had to have internet access. Of course, this sometimes meant, "I know nothing about computers, you'll have to wait for my husband to wake up," or "we're in the process of getting our wireless fixed."
My free breakfasts ranged from white bread toast to elaborate international buffet with a range of baked goods, fruit juices, and hot items. My favorite "free" hotel breakfast of all was at Pousada Dona Zilah...

I got to fly a bunch of new airlines in business class on my Round-the-World trip, and one of my favorite parts was opening up the goody bag, I mean, amenity kit once I got on board!
The airline lounges were more similar than different in function: each had an area to plug in computers, a bar, buffet, and lounge area. The differences were in decor...
Actually, every airline outside of the US was awesome when it came to economy class food...

Hotel SO is a product that I feel has really attained that "designed just for me" holy grail...
New Zealand has given me many firsts: hiking on a glacier, snowboarding, and now, flying on a commercial airplane with no security screening!
In New Zealand, I was able to have the cuisine of every SE Asian country I've been to (except for Singapore, but I'm sure that's here too, somewhere)...
