Animals in the Wild!
They say there are a couple things in advertising that always raise favorability: babies and cute animals. Well, I was delighted come across a bunch of cute animals in the wild!
Here is a herd of deer at the entrance of Mesa Verde - see the one with the antlers?
Also at Mesa Verde: horses, snow, and yucca plants isn't a combination I would expect!
A segue into Monument Valley - here is our guide assembling the skeleton of horse for us. I think it recently died, because the leg nearby still had fur and stuff on it.
