Trip Report: MUC-LHR-SFO part II

LHR-SFO was on a packed Boeing 777. On this flight, the flight attendant actually read out the menu, which made the choices that much clearer and actually appetizing.

I chose the Mediterranean chicken with eggplant and pepper ragout served with gnocchi, a romaine and frisee salad with tomato slice, and a nice apple pound cake with raisins, with a "ciabatta" roll. Pleasantly surprised that it wasn't a packaged dessert like the eastbound flights are. Had it with my usual cranapple cocktail - one of the few non-carbonated beverages available in a can (vs. just a cup).

Midflight snack was a back of pretzels and a bag of dried fruit (raisin, cranberry, papaya?) and strange multi-colored chocolate/yogurt spheres.

Pre-arrival snack was a Canadian bacon, semi-soft cheese, and goat cheese roll, a bag of potato chips, and a surprisingly full-sized package of Twix.
